Kneading dough

Koi Allah ki bandi/banda aatah goondhna sikha day please.

oooh I actually vaguely understood what you were asking there!

Anyway to answer your question....Kitchenaid. (really want the new lilac chrome one but its only available in the US at the moment)

y do u need to knead dough?
buy naan, pita bread
or as shahreen mentioned, buy kitchenaid!
no need to get your hands dirty!

what’s so complicated about that? and if aap ko aata ghoondna naheen aata how r u going to make the rotis? i suggest pita bread or ready made bread…rotiaan pakana larkon ke bas ka kaam naheen :stuck_out_tongue:

khayr, to answer ur question: just add water and mix it with the aata until you reach the right consistency which is that it should not stick to your hands or the dish but it should also not be so dry that little bits are breaking off :smack:

hmmm…actually…i changed my mind…

u will never learn how to do it well until you watch a lady who knows how to do it…so just observe someone :stuck_out_tongue:

its an art…a special skill

Can make piecrust pretty good.

Bread making....hmmm

I have better luck buying frozen bread dough..LOL.

and don’t add too much water to the point where it is too watery and soggy. Anyway, I’m surprised you can’t make atta. :stuck_out_tongue:

maashAllah kya advice hai :D

Just as ~NiQ@Bi~ mentioned, and don't forget to add Salt and tbl. spoon of oil if you wish, salt is important, otherwise the roti doesnt taste good at all.

Kitchen aid? Is this what women use now? Zaalim sara maza kharaab ho gaya (guys will understand).

Well thanks for no help at all. I will make it easier for you women.

My roTis do not come out soft, they turn into a papaR very quickly, what am I doing wrong?

Irem I am also surprised you dont know how to.

SaadiaB, oil is good, rotis dont stick that way.

Saadia, my mama never puts salt in the atta when she’s making it and it still tastes good. I guess it also depends on what type of atta you are using … there are so many different brands out there.

Mehnaz, are you really sure, sometimes the salt is put an the end.
