This is different story each episode and usually revolves around some twist or turn of events within a relationship. I’m currently watching this week’s episode which features Maira Khan playing a prostitute in a brothel. She had run away with a guy only to be sold away to the brothel and ever since then she’s been looking for a way to get back in touch with her brother thinking he’ll save her. And eventually he does, she’s back at home right now and I’m hoping and praying her brother isn’t the villain in this story.
Well when he gave her the doodh… me and my husband both looked at each other .. we knew.. but we didn’t know that was her brother. We kinda missed the first few mins of the drama.
yeah they usually have some sad and miserable twist at the end. I had seen the one where Jibran and the girl from Roag were married. The girl was a prostitute (mostly in this series the girls are) and Jibran marries her. He’s a taxi driver but then has an accident and loses his legs. So his wife starts being a prostitute again in order to run the household. Yeah there was NOTHING better for her to do in the world.
I don’t think they have every shown any positive hopeful ending in these.
^ bisaat main thee na positive , happy, romantic ending lol
but i still like some of these stories. i havn’t watched too many but the ones i watched were not bad. the one with rubina ashraf where a joke created prob in her life. it had a sad ending too.
not asking for some romantic love story by any means. But they can at least show how people who might be stuck in a bad situation can rise above that and overcome it.
^She thought he was recusing her and he really does manage to free her from the brothel (her ex-husband had sold here there) with the help of his friend. He gets her back to their family home where she grew up etc and he makes her drink milk laced with poison. He did it because he was a psycho, obviously. But I think in his head he was doing it to help her, he was clearly devastated he had to do it. It was kind of interesting the way the story played out. Fahad Mustafa’s mother played the woman who runs the brothel, she wall decked out in gorgeous saris and jewels.
I was so sad after watching this episode. Uff!! Yes, the brother was clearly devastated and you could see that it was ‘painful’ for him to kill his sister. But this is the twisted concept of ‘honour killing’, where he had to kill her in order to restore the family honour.
whose mother is that lady who was running the brothel? she comes in alot of dramas? what is her name? didn’t know that Faisal Qureshi had realtive who worked in showbiz
