An amalgam of the above genres salted with heavy under-
currents of emotional melodrama is what usually defines traditional Bollywood epics, and “Kites” pulls no punches in its histrionic story of love and revenge. It also spares no expense in the telling with the cast of primarily Hindi actors gnashing their way through a beautifully stylish production and several large-scale action set pieces.
It's been a flop here..Like some RJ said, "Roshan saab banane chale thhey film Hollywood style mein, anth me (at the end) ye film na Hollywood ki lagi na Bollywood ki"..Like what's that proverb," Kawwa chala hans ki chaal chalne aur apni chaal bhool gaya" ...LOL!
Wanna tell Barbara -Please yahan Baar baar (mat) aa!!
I personally didnt think I would like it..but I did...
It is a love story..so dont expect that you will get from a moral from it at the end of the film...but its a sweet love story..some parts are like...oh come on..that cant happen!! But otherwise its a good movie...not many songs...only 2 hrs...and Hrithik and Barbara have done good acting...both look lovely together..
I would rate it 4 out of 5...its not a superhit..but I certainly didnt think it was crap...
