**Bay faiz rafaqat main samar kis kay liyay tha
Jab dhoop thi qismat to shajar kis kay liyay tha

Pardais main sona tha to chat kis liyay daali
Bahar hi nikalna tha to ghar kis kay liyay tha

Jis khaak say phoota hay ussi khaak ki khushbo
Pahchaan na paaya to huner kis kay liyay tha

Aey madar e geetey! teri hairat bhi baja hay
Teray hi na kaam aaya to sarkas kis kay liyay tha

Yoon shaam ki dahshat say sar e dasht Irada
Rukna tha to phir sara safar kis kay liyay tha

I am not a big fan of parveen shakir, i dont why? i find her expression way too bold … i know people will disagree but, thats what i feel.

I agree with Fara P Shakir at times does not have the freedom of expression in her work but still she has done some terrific work

Fara **…well most of the ppl who understand urdu r fan of PARVEEN SHAKIR … khair kiya kah saktay hain her insaan ki apni apni pasand hotii hay anyways than x alot

saroo…kharboozay ko daikh kar khbooza rang pakarrta hay yeh suna tha laikin aaj daikh bhii liyaa :mad:

I wont Fully agree to Fara… coz Parveen Shakir has some very good Poems… Ye… I will agree to some extent that.. in some of her Poems the Expression are way too bold.. and some times these are irritating… :slight_smile:
