bari pur’sakooN thei ye zindghi naya dard kis ne jaga dee’ya
kis be-nayaaz nigha ne meri wahshatooN ko barha dee’ya

meray kam-sakhuN ka ye hukam tha k maiN kalam us se kam karooN
meray hoont aisay silay k phir meri chup ne usay rulaa deeya

usay sher sunanay ka shooq tha mujhay arz-e-haal ka zoaq tha
isi zoaq-o-shooq maiN aik din usay haal-e-dil suna dee’ya

wo nigha kesi nigha thei ye garaiz kesa garaiz tha
mujhay dekh k be na dekhna na is ada ne haal suna dee’ya

kisi naam se kiis yaad se meray dil ki bazam saji rahya
kabhi ye chiraag jala dee’ya kabhi wo chiraag jala dee’ya***

Well, hum daad daiany main kanjossi say kaam naheen laitay. The fact that you are an old and established guppy, makes me think that oh well, yeh puranay hain, let me encourage the new ones first. It doesn’t mean I ignore you guys. :slight_smile:

I spent my childhood in a small village of India...there were green trees (mangoes, peepal, mahua etc..) all around the village. And so the sweet voice of ** Koyal ** used to sing at anytime of the day. I used to enjoy that the most. And now..in united stated I miss all those days..but sometimes on GS I get it....
