KIRAN KAHANI by Hasina Moin, was produced and directed by Shirin Khan (who later married PTV's Head-Cuurent Affairs & Sports Athar Vaqar Azim in 1976. Unfortunately, Shirin developed cancer and lost her battle with it in London in 1980).
KIRAN KAHANI was another classical slapstick comedy by Hasina which had Roohi Bano, Manzoor Qureshi, Jamshed Ansari and Babra Sharif in cast. It drew huge viewership and became the darling of the most satisfied audience of PTV's monopoly days---of 1973-74.
He serial comprised of 26 episodes--which are well kept in the archives of PTV at its headquarters in Islamabad. They are reluctant on marketing this B&W classic...but the the recent decision of the repeat-telecast of 'veteran' serials on PTV-Global etc., is making it easy for many to record it and market it...though the serial is protected by copyright act of the country.

i really wanna watch this daram, i know they are showing it on ptv but they just showed last episode yesterday, i didn't get to watch it from the beginning. i tried looking for it online but not luck so far

NO Tariq.....the dialogue you quote...is from UNCLE URFI of 1969-70 and Jimmy (Jamshed Ansari with a FEZ on his head) created this pillow talk when his character--for first two episodes--was going straight or to be more clear JOON KA TOONN JA RAHA THAH till they came up with this...and Jimmy was popular overnight!
