Kino- problems

Im using kino for some editing. I managed to trim a clip ( which turns it into a DV file. And then after exporting…the trimmed copy i expect it to be a vob file (it did the first time).

But it wont now. All im getting is the dv files even after i export!

Anyone any ideas?

Re: Kino- problems

I use musambee myself, so i don't know how to solve this issue :)

Re: Kino- problems

.

Re: Kino- problems

ok finally resolved it. Exported it after trimming then used the command line to join the two files and convert them to vob format!

Thanks all

Re: Kino- problems

Re: Kino- problems

Kino means theater or cinema in Slav languages, mostly probably the developer comes from Central or North Eastern Europe.

Re: Kino- problems

but its is musamee, no :konfused:

Re: Kino- problems

No not really. It is a very common word in German Lango too and derived from Greek meaning "motion". An abbreviation of "Kinema". :)

Re: Kino- problems

:hehe:

Zob, it does have the B in it.

Re: Kino- problems

Well, German is one single language, comparing around 8 or 9 Slav Languages (Czech, Polish, Slovak, Macedonian etc) , in all those Kino means "Cinema" as well as in German. Kivnon (Kyunon) is the Greek word, of course spelled in Greek alphabets.

Even though Kino Software itself has been developed by a German. So you are right about the origin of this software.
