as a London graduate I have a preference for Kings... regarded more highly in my eyes and my acquaintances. plus it is ranked higher than Manchester (albeit by a small margin)....
In terms of saving money...yes london is dear. u will save money in Manchester but not a huge amount (have a sit down and work out exactly how much can u save. if it is substantial then perhaps that is ur answer).
It depends how far you want to travel, I know you can get desi food from places like Upton Park (east london), Upper Tooting, Southall, not sure about any other places as these are the only desi areas i’ve been to in london.
I would suggest you choose Manchester due to the cost factors you would need to consider for kings. It's much cheaper up north.
I was thinking of doing a masters in Internet Applications Development, but later changed my mind and took a year out to build up some experience. But going for a PGCE insha allah in sept.
are you paying for your masters? I tried to get some funding...but failed :(
King's is much more highly respected than Manchester... go to King's it will be worth the extra money. If you are at King's you have access to a lot of the other colleges of the University of London to... both socially and academically.
