**King Fahd, Saudi Arabia’s ruler since 1982, has died.
**
Saudi state television announced that Crown Prince Abdullah had been named as King Fahd’s successor.
King Fahd had been frail since suffering a stroke a decade ago and had delegated the running of the kingdom’s affairs to Crown Prince Abdullah.
Defence Minister Prince Sultan is next in line to the throne after Abdullah, and was named crown prince, state television announced.
“With all sorrow and sadness, the royal court in the name of his highness Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz and all members of the family announces the death of the servant of the two holy site, King Fahd bin Abdel Aziz,” according to a statement read out on Saudi television.
^^ In his crown prince days he was known as an Arab nationalist (of sort). Comparatively he had ‘simple tastes’ than the other unashamedly pompous, conceited and arrogant princes. Nevertheless he is a tyrant (bad guy) too until he restores full rights to the citizens.
ps: brother Ravage It’s exactly 3 months and 4 days since you said that you are going reply soon to my pm
Well, I only post when I really have to say something, otherwise I read what others have to say.
chalain, lets give him a chance to see what he does, he cant be worse than his father.
ps: it is a pity then that others have so much to say, and you dont. as for my much belated pm , no excuses, all of my contacts from those days have been subjected to my disappearing act, for which Im very sorry, i had to get away
^ whats wrong with bad mouthing him he is the worst scum muslim ever had the misfortune to have. launching a war on Iraq providing billions of dollars to the terrorist US to kill hundreds of thousands of innocents in Iraq and you worried about bad mouthing him.

^^ It's true that it is only Allah (swt) who knows who deserves hell or heaven.
We humans go with what is apparent. Fahad was a five-star tyrant. He lived like a tyrant and ruled like one just paying lip-service to requirements of Islam.
By Bush and Blair saying that they have lost a great friend is enough to discredit Fahad.
Of course if Allah (swt) so wishes, He can forgive any one's sins. At the same time it is true that Allah (swt) hates the tyrants, and whom Allah (swt) hates deserve what is coming there way.
I hope that other tyrants over the Muslims lands learn from Fahad's death. That the 'mighty' and 'powerful' have an appointed day of reckoning when the angel of death shall seize their souls and they will have to account for their deeds or misdeeds.
