-=Kill 2 Bill=-

Just found out that the movie has been delayed till April 26th, and the release date for the DVD for volume 1 has been pushed forward as well! That sucks!

Is it the second part of Kill Bill?

I loved everything about that movie, from Uma's comeback to the awesome soundtrack it had!

Anyone saw the trailer for the second volume?? Looks incredible! The bride is back! She is going to kill bill!

^ yeah and the wink at the end..Kill Bills not a film..it's a work of art !

^ I agree, this director is famous for bringing unique elements even with predictable stories.

And i totally agree with Xara.. Hittori Hanzo and his servant were the funniest in the movie..’ Do you understand?’ :hehe:

I  the Bride

Saw it last night. If you liked the first volume, second is even better or maybe not for some of you who like fight scenes.

I don’t understand why Quentin chose Daryl Hannah to play bitch girl character. Never liked that woman for unknown reason. I thought that Quentin Tarantino wouldn’t live up to the expectations to the first one, but he certainly did! This one a little less violent than the first one, but still made for great viewing!

Bottom line, volume one concentrated on action, volume two concentrates on dialogue and the character’s background. More blah-blah, less blood. Still, if you have bigger expectations than seeing heads and members fly everywhere, you will like this movie for its story and intelligent (yet boring at times)dialogues. If you go to the cinemas to see it with volume one’s blood-soaked scenes as a guideline, you will be disappointed. All that said, Tarantino rules!

I liked the soundtrack better than the movie :hehe: Haven’t seen the 2nd one yet. Will catch it when it comes out on dvd.

A sequel that outdid the first one! Amazing!

Not to labour a point but;

I watched the first installment lately at a late night prelude showing to the second volume. I like tarantino's movies particularly Jackie B. I'm into the kung fu genre and the whole 60's green hornet/man from uncle stuff but this film sucked the big one.

The fight scenes paid no homage to kung fu movies and were really badly choreographed and unimaginative. I like Uma, but come on they couldn't have picked a more angular cardboardy-motioned actor.

This film also proved a formula in movie quality and furthered my belief of Lucy lui’s inability to pull off any scene without me cringing.

The manga-like sequences ultimately outshone the live action and weren’t particularly original either.

He’s missed the boat, bad luck.

A Thap 2 out of 10.

Thanks to Gizzy I found this post
Finally I watched both parts on the same day and O boy O boy I loveddd it.
Most amazing kick-ass fight movie I have seen which involves women as the main herion. I think Uma was the best choice for this movie…I could not expect Jennifer Garner or Halle Berry type women to be able to do this..it would have looked too fake. Uma had played the part of bride and motherhood very well.
Best part of the movie is the background music with fight scenes..i am definitly buying DVD for both. :k:
