I think that the less children people have, the more they pamper them... and in some parts of the world its got to the stage where these namby pamby pampered children start having rights and whats worse is they actually know what they are.
In the "olden days" and in most other parts of the world parents have or had a responsibility to turn their child from a little uncouth cavechild to a well mannered little human, now this does STILL happen..... however, some people are of the view that this is against the the natural order and the child should "grow" without inhibitions
so we get to go out to bakery type places and get to see manic crazy kids screaming the place down with parents with fixed smiles saying "honey ...talk to me"
AAAARRRGGHHH!!!!
I reckon the sign should be amended to say
"if your kid plays up and annoys us we have the right to lock it up in the cellar with the rats"
