Kids learning to paint the walls !! - lol

When they learn to grab a pencil - u better start giving urself lessons in patience and self meditation - cause if u cant just control urself u wil be getting fits all day long - IT really is so hard to keep small toddlers from writing and drawing on the walls - with anything that they can grab - chalk , pencils , markers , and yesterday the small one (3 and half years) made a mess out of mama’s new lipstiks. The elder (5 yrs) has now somehow learned that it is not good writing on the walls because mama alwayz get a bit fussy whenever he does that - so he now prefers the color books (extra LARGE size) that I got for him - But still he cant just resist the temptation of a good ole SWEEEEEEEEEEp with the black marker on the walls - lol - well I know all kids do that - pretty natural.

I tried pasting paper sheets on the wall - but somehow they AVOID those sheets :rotfl: and alwayz go for the wall to draw their works of art. And it looked a bit too much If I pasted the whole room with a piece of paper for these michealangeloz to draw.

Any new ideas what to do ??

how about you paint your walls with washable paints so that everything comes off..and if its expensive..then here are few other suggestions:

i remember my brother used to love writing on the walls..so my mom got the shelves and she fixed them up really high..so my brother could never reach them even with the chairs etc.

also try to get washable products for your kids..like washable markers..or washable crayons..and good erasers for pencil marks..

and if do have washable paints on walls..everything comes off easily with products like scrub free etc.

Let your kids as creative as they can be..that's how they learn..or how about getting them those huge blackboards/chalk boards..it might help them somewhat..i hope :)
