Where do you shop for your children? Do you follow fashion trends (yes, even kids have them), or do you just go with traditional clothing like jeans and a sweatshirt?
Re: Kids fashion
My Mom takes me to Abercrombie and tells me to buy 5 shirts, I say no cause it's all over 30 bucks. Then we go to the clearance section and she still tells me to buy more things.
Re: Kids fashion
I buy what looks cute to me.... my usual stores for my daughter's clothes are Gymboree, Pumpkin Patch, The Children's place, Osh Kosh B'Gosh, Old navy and sometimes H&M.... I always buy stuff thats on sale or in clearance, or I use coupons ..... have never bought anything for full price :p.
I even buy bigger clothes in advance for next year .... like this year I got T-shirts from Osh Kosh for $2 each, found great bargains in clearance :D

I do something similar, when a certain season goes on clearance, i buy bigger sizes for next year :)
I also buy what I think is cute from Baby Gap, Children's Place, Old Navy, Carter's and even from department stores. I try to buy on sale or with coupons etc, but every now and then if I really like something I will just get it full price and then feel bad later when baby only got to wear it once. I do like getting stuff of better quality for baby, as its softer and more comfy and lasts a little longer than some of the cheaper stuff.
Re: Kids fashion
^Oh yes, I forgot Baby Gap/Gap kids.... I have the Gap outlet nearby.... great clothes at better prices than the retail stores :D

Do you really save at outlets?

Yes!
Re: Kids fashion
I buy from Gap. Gymbroee, Marshalls (my personal favorite), Children's Place and sometimes Department stores as well. I buy on sale but also the regular priced items too soemtimes. I also buy on ebay esp. dresses for my daughter from the UK which look very different from the USA ones. I look for designer items too once in a while like my daughter has a Lilly Pulitzer T shirt and & jeans and my son an Armani T shirt.
Yes, i do follow fashion trends as well.
Re: Kids fashion
I guess full price is for the aunts/grandmas :D
Re: Kids fashion
Most of her clothes I buy from Old Navy, Children's Place and Macy's. Till last few months I also bought quiet a few things at Babies r us. I have found her everyday wear pj's and shirts at JCpenny as well.
Re: Kids fashion
I don't. I rarely shop for the girls. My mom does all their shopping and she is way more trendy than I am. So they get a huge package in the mail in the start of every season with everything from socks to hoodies to jackets and what is IN for the season.
I think she shops at yonkers, macys, childrens place, gymboree and sears.

Yep .... mostly when there's a sale or you pick out stuff from the clearance section.
You have to compare prices though.... don't buy things blindly..... visit the outlets and retail stores a couple of times, do comparisons and then start buying :).
