Is it OK for little girls aged 2 3 to wear little skirts shorts etc. I dress then this way but husband has a issue with it and doesn’t like that kind of dressing even for little girls. I’m frustrated with his thinking… grrrrrr

oh i asked random strangers on a discussion portal and some of them dont agree... so i would like to dress them in shorts and skirts. cuz their opinion makes more senseto me and matters awhole lot.

my daughter is 2.5 year old she wears body suit most of the time in home :p

Lately there have been lawful bashing going on around in diff. threads for massive generalisation.
PLease keep in mind clearly there are over 180 million estimated Pakistani and of which 40 % are men.

I stopped shorts for my daughter when she turned 5 but before that it was fine. She still wears capris etc. It all depends upon a personal level of comfort. Sadly your husband and you have a different set of beliefs regarding many issues and this is one of them. I would say maybe work out a compromise. Short skirts with tights leggings and capri pants instead of shorts, maybe.
BTW where are you based these days?

My cousin's little girl is a naturally chubby and gol matol kid so she usually doesn't buy any shorts for her (cute little dresses and frocks all the way) Her point is why attract more attention? Kid is a kid but evil people still exist. At the end of the day, it's for child's own safety.

Nadz you and hubby are on different pages in terms of a lot of things. You guys should figure out how u ll b raising ur gals that is strictly islamically, leniently, etc.
Whatever u two decide then follow that.
They are so young and it is just the beginning. The older they ll get more issues will come up. So it's best you two decide how they ll be raised and follow that. Otherwise issues will keep coming up.

And it's not about whether they can wear shorts n skirts or not. It's more of he wants them to dress according to Islam starting at a young age whereas you don't want to start so soon.
Best that you guys clear your differences and be I the same page about raising them.
