I remember my brother and I used to use code words for swearing around my parents.

So instead of S— we would shout “Sugar” or more commonly “Sheesh Kebab”.

So like, if I dropped my fork when I was 13 and my parents were in the kitchen I’d shout “Oh sheesh kebab!!!”
