Leikr is a GPS sports watch Kickstarter that wants to outperform the wrist-mounted competition by making the GPS link process faster, thanks to “a snapping fast custom made GPS system”, and squeezing in a non-bulky, two inch colour touchscreen – so you can see more as you run. It’s also got Wi-Fi on board, utilizes OpenStreetMap maps and is built on a Linux-based OS with help from ex-Nokia folk.
