Quran has at many places said those who have done bad deeds will be put in hell and will live there forever.
Quran did not give any exception for Muslims in this regards.
According to my belief whatever Allah says is truth and it cannot be changed by any human.
Allah has also said that Allah can do whatever Allah wishes so if Allah wishes then Allah can throw us all in hell or paradise, but from Allah’s characteristic of being just we cannot expect any unjust action or reaction.

While that is true, Muhammad is said to have the power to stop Allah from throwing someone in hell. This is mentioned in a hadees
