This is by far the best romantic Pakistani Song… Having listened to it alot of times at Junoon Concerts, I just fell in love with this song!!!
This song was in Junoons first album back in 1990-1, when Salman recently left VS and Azmat fresh out of Jupitars, formed a band, and requested a pilot Nusrat Hussain to join them. This first album didnt do too well, but everyone loved two songs from this album, particularly khwaab.
Nusrat Hussain (former Junoon vocalist and band member, pakistani pilot) did an excellent job with the vocals and Salman’s guitar magic did its own part. Ali Azmat also does an excellent job playing this song in the Junoon concerts in the absence of Nusrat Hussain, who left the band due to his other commitments. This version is very different to the Khwab 2003 one in Deewar though.

This is the picture of the former Junoon vocalist who sang this masterpiece!!!

it's a great song! but the new Ali Azmat version sounds as if ali was drunk during the recording.

The version that he sings at concerts is definitely the best
still nothing can beat the original from vol 1 :)

Perhaps :) We must also realize that this was one of the two hit songs in the first albums, and this inspired the band to move on further towards their second album.
Although ali azmat have sung many songs and done justice, but this song is sung by nusrat husain so beautifully that ali azmat never came close to nusrat’s vocals. And salman is awsome guitarist :k:
I always thought that it (original) was sung by Ali Azmat. The song is my favourite Junoon song. Neend Aati nahi was another good number in the first album.
Khawab 2003 is an OK remix. Ali didn’t make a 100% justice to the song though. The guitar solo in this version is exceptional :k:
