my dad is going to be the khatib for jummah prayers at a correctional facility, and he wants to use the khutbat of mulana modudi. thing is, he’s doing this for volunteering with the islamic society..and he has never given a dars. he’s asked me to work with him on this..i have the books of mulana modudi’s khutbah compilation..and the first one is called ‘haqeeqat e islam’.
i have to translate the chapters from literary urdu to english, so it can be done as a sermon. i was wondering…does anybody here have any knowledge..if these sermons have been translated previously? if not..i have already started working on it..and i would like someone to go over my work, and make it suitable for a khutbah.

Pink.. just one word of caution. Please make sure that the listeners dont look at maududi's interepretation as 'the wod' while he was a learned man, some of his stuff is controversial and debatable..
