:bism:

**“The best day the sun rises over is Friday”

Hadith

Juma’ah is a blessed day for all Muslims.
On the day of Juma’ah Muslims offer Juma’ah prayer and for this prayer, special time is taken.

Its said, that Muslims should listen v attentively the Khutbah and should give full attention to the Khateeb/Imam when he is delivering the Khutbah.

As we understand the importance of Khutbah and the lessons it contain for us, We can share here what we heard by Khateeb/Imam, some good lines, lessons or some good thought that touch our mind.**

**I will share first, very touchy lines to ponder on, said by the Khateeb during Khutbah yesterday....

"Every human has four eyes.
Two eyes in his head for looking at his dunya/world.
And two eyes in his heart for looking at his Akhirah.

So, if his head eyes become blind, and his heart eyes begin to sight, his blindness is not going to harm him anything...

And if his head eyes begin to sight, and his heart eyes become blind, his looking is not going to help him anything..."**

I think there was one thread opened by [USER="88054"]lethal kamikaze[/USER] on the same topic. Its a very good trend. Sometimes we getto hear things which are totally noteworthy but then we forget. Here we can document it and reread

Peace All,

If Almighty Allah willed, :insh: soon I’ll deliver Khutba translated in Urdu from Arabic.

Sure, I’ll share with you guys also.

Just back from Jumma.

Today's topic was how to safeguard our next generation i.e. children. I like how a lot many mosques here have programs and speeches on how to keep the new generation on track.

So it was divided in two sections. One is how it can be done for the small kids. Something was quoted which means that the children are weak (or vulnerable). And the first step to make them stronger is the parents themselves adopting Taqwa. Practice before preaching. Second is by explaining kids what is fear of ALLAH and why. Answer their curious questions. And then at a certain age ask them very nicely & politely to adopt the practices like Namaz. And so on and so forth.

Second and relatively smaller section was for the parents who skip the work in section 1. i.e. They dont work with their kids on the basic concepts and practices in the early age. Now what. The speaker emphasized its never too late. The kid can be 15, 20 or even 30. But explaining the concepts and requesting children to adopt religious practices in more mature way is the only way to go.

I hope we all understand it as well act upon it.

Todays khutbah dealt with the topic of status of women in Islam as a mother, sister, wife and daughter. The Khateeb presented hadith regarding this topic:

  1. When she is a daughter, she becomes the means for the father to enter Jannah. Rasool Allah said that if a man has two daughtera and he raises them right and takes care of them in a befitting manner, he and I will be in paradise as close as two fingers.

  2. When she is a wife, she is half the man's Imaan.

  3. As a mother, the entire Jamnah is placed under her feet.

Another hadith he mentioned was when a woman walks with hayaa/modesty the angels pray to their Lord on the arsh.

He also touched on the subject of the upcoming Valentines day and how we have adopted such rituals and celebrations to emulate the West while overlooking our own deen and proper islamic traditions and teachings. Then he mentioned something about Landaay ke Liberals.

That was about dealing with justice as per mian

Today's khutba was about these two verses from Surah Al-Ahzab:

O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.
(33:70-71)

The Khateeb focused on the virtue of speaking the truth. He drew examples from the society where people have become so accustomed to telling lies, however small and they do not even realize that what they are saying is not the truth.

**This week the topic was 'Tawakkul Ala Allah'

Though the Khutbah was too long but it was all about Tawakkul...

Imam said,
'Tawakkul is the main part of worship (ibadah) and Dua. It means having full n whole Trust on Allah in every aspect of life and for every aspect of after life, with the whole heart and being truthful to Him, with full sincerity and without any doubts, authorising Him for every and each single matter, having complete belief on the upcoming results of Dua, and believing that what Allah will decide for me is the best for me.

He who has such belief, gets the best from Allah, in this life and after life.

Tawakkul was the most powerful weapon of all Prophets, Anbiya Alehum Assalam and Saliheen.**

Is dafa kisi ne Juma’ah nae parha? :emmy:

***The Khutba was about the day of Jumma’ah! word Jumma’ah means to Gather, When Allah SWT decided to create Adam ES, Allah SWT gathered every kind of dirt from Earth to Make Adam ES on the Day of Jumma’ah! and hence Adam ES was born on the day of Jumma’ah!

also as a side note even the Peoples of Amreeka say TGIF Thank God it is Friday!*

I don't attend jum'ah in the mosque so this is not khutbat juma'h ,but a class was going on tonight in the masjid near the park where I walk.

The speaker talked about voluntary prayers; sunnan and nawafil. They bring us closer to Allah (swt ). He said anyone can love Allah (swt ), but true love is in following his commandments. Then he mentioned the latter part of the following hadith and explained it.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Verily Allah ta'ala has said: 'Whosoever shows enmity to a wali (friend) of Mine, then I have declared war against him. **And* My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved to Me than the religious duties I have obliged upon him. *****And My servant continues to draw near to me with nafil (supererogatory) deeds until I Love him. When I Love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which strikes, and his foot with which he walks. **Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would certainly give it to him; and were he to seek refuge with Me, I would certainly grant him a refugee. ' " [Al-Bukhari]

A number of benefits of Allaah' slove for His slave:
(i) "I am his hearing with which he hears" i.e., he does not listen to anything but that which Allaah loves.

(ii) "his seeing with which he sees" i.e., he does not see anything but that which Allaah loves.

(iii) "his hand with which he strikes" i.e., he does not do anything with his hand but that which Allaah loves.

(iv) "and his foot with which he walks" i.e., he does not go towards anything but that which Allaah loves.

(v) "Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him" i.e., his du'aa's (supplications) are heard and his requests are granted.

(vi) "and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it" i.e., he is protected by Allaah from all things.

And Allaah knows best

Today's khutbah was again the echo of aftermath of NZ's tragic incident. The lessons that we have to learn and all. Imam emphasized how we have to stand up to safeguard ourselves just to make sure that evreyone stays safe.
Second, he explained how it explained that not every non-muslim is an enemy. A lot of them are very good human and have a great heart what he called muslims from inside. Example ofcourse is NZ's premier and their public.
