khussey...

khussey/nagra- this traditional footwear in Pakistan…where do they originate from?

i dont know where they originated from(guess:mughal era?)but i love wearing them, they are so nice,comfy...& u can wear them with everything, shalwar kameez, choori daar pajama, jeans, trousers, they look nice with everything.I mostly wear khusey coz i cant really wear heals coz of my height.

I like wearing them also from time to time, depending on style of the outfit.

I dunno anout khussey, but nagra has its origin in rajasthan and even know known as rajasthani shoes. I like nagras with designer kurta-payjamas :)

have u got pics? ive never heard or seen any of em.

I love to wear them,
but they always hurt somehow. even if I put some oil on my feet ...:-(

any suggestions to get rid of that harsh feeling in my feet?

hurt like hell :(

tes they do hurt sometimes(the first few days you wear them) but then they become very comfortable, they just need some time to loosen up a bit.

I like them…but i generally get this zakham at the back of my foot that gives me tension like anything :bummer:

ab main pishawari pehen leta hoon..saal main jab bhi kameez shalwar pehenta hoon tou :smooth:

yep i agree kusay looks great and very eastren , dont know really where they originated from , as some one mentioned here i also think they are back from mughals.

k,another tip 4 ppl whos feet hurt when they wear khussey,(iv tried this one,& it works) pay someone whos foot is a size bigger than ur to wear ur khussey n walk around 4 a day,it'll hurt them(but they'v been paid,so dont feel bad:D)but when u wear um,they'll be very comfy coz they will have become a bit loose after the other person wearin um.:D

^ :hehe: yeh to us par zulm hai! :bummer:

:hehe: :k:

i love khussay, and now they have this great style out which are open from the back so they dont hurt your ankles!:hula: which is great cos u can walk around so free and comfortably!

and the colours they have in this style are absolutely gorgeous  especially the purple ones!!

lux awesome in shairwani:k:…

nodody answered the question they originate from anatolia/Turkey. They are also called turkish shoes.
