why are desi plp so against khusras and if that is the case why are khusras the first to be invited when there is a happy gathering? i have seen the most sophisticated plp have khusras at there parties and same plp put up there noses at the mention of them …
Re: Khusray nichwana
i dont think they invite them.. they get there all by themselves...and start dancing.. in return people have to give some money to them.
Re: Khusray nichwana
This thing is no more in practice now. People are now more sensible about their celebrations. As FrozenFire they get there all by themselves.
Re: Khusray nichwana
Hi!
I think the ppl who look down their noses at them or as if they've done something wrong by being themselves, are wrong becasue the way they are is because of how allah ta'ala made them...... and because no one will give them work of any kind because they are looked down at they are forced to dance at weddings and things so that they can earn some money and feed themselves......:(
i dont see them in gatherings but i do see becharay on traffic lights.they always are very mysterious

I'm assuming you think of them as humans also...so why are you calling them "it"?
Re: Khusray nichwana
We had them showed up at my Khala's valima in Lahore .. that was in 80's .. all the Mard were thouroghly enjoying and giving them money for their dancing and what not.
Once in karachi, I was riding my bike on University Road in Gulshan Area when I saw 3 pathans beating up 2 women by the street side ..
On the close inspection, I realized that they were beating couple of khusras .. dont know why .
I feel sad of these people

BECAUSE they are not male/female so i cannot say he/she..so for lack of a better term i used 'it'..my intentions are not mocking in any way of them..
Re: Khusray nichwana
sophisticated ppl inviting khusras over dudeeee when did that start happening in sophisticated families???
Re: Khusray nichwana
i remember an instance when my aunt had a baby boy and khusras came in her house... took the child and started dancing.. now when my aunt asked them to give back the baby.. they refused to do so..and they were asking for like 500 rupees back then and my khaala got so scared she borrowed it from her neighbour and gave it to them ,since she didnt have money at that time.. and then they started asking for all sort of other stuff.. like blanket, pillows etc.. and she gave everythin they asked..and finally got her baby back.
They're really stubborn.
Re: Khusray nichwana
People in Pakistan really like naach, such as saanp ka naach, reench ka naach, bandar ka naach, anjuman aur reema ka naach, and khusron ka naach.

Re: Khusray nichwana
Older and wiser generation used to treat them with compassion and generosity. Because they believe that these people are closer to God due to their irregular physical attributes.
They believed that their prayers are accepted, whether good or bad. So they (wise old people) always tried to keep them happy.
One another aspect they must have in their mind in showering them with money and stuff that these people should not resort to immoral activities. Thus they were invited rather welcomed on festive occasion :k:
Now ‘sophisticated’ people in general despise their presence in their home during happy occasions. And dont feel the need to help these poor creatures so they could self-sustain them selves while keeping their integrity. So as a result they appear on the roads, crossing and ask for alms and charity.
