This looks like a totally thumkaa film....couldn't Sheikh make something more intelligent than that? Why do they have to xerox bollywood? However, gotta say that Meera is looking awesome in the few scenes she is in.

Well, compared to the excitement people had over Yeh Dil Aap Ka Hua, looks like few people care about this. Maybe Sheikh ji wont do that well at the box office this time around.

gosh, when our directors gonna make the movies for masses (with less melodrama). do they really have to show some lame showoff?
and they should come out of these love-lafra now.
molvi hazraat abb kahan hain, when worlds sixth largest film industry (i gonna re-check this bitter fact though) makes such garbage stuff in the name of art and instead of improves and guide people, dirtying minds?

zobia, I think this movie would be much of an improvement over the typical movies made in "lollywood". Maybe its not spiritual guidance in a hard-core form, but it doesn't seem like its promoting violence and cheapness the way typical Pakistani movies do.
I think after Khuda Ke Liye, the movie going audience is not going to respond well to this movie though. Bad timing in terms of release. Especially with Ramchand Pakistani coming out sometime this year.

The film is supposed to be rather good, and is doing pretty well in theatres.

Positive reviews are pouring in, though almost everyone agrees that the climax is the film’s achilles heal…which again reminds one of Yeh Dil Aap Ka where a smiling Sana simply gapes as her brother is shot!
Khulay Asman Key Neechey Rambling…
*I went to cineplex today to watch this much awaited JS film. I was looking forward to a stupid flick which we good for some laughter therapy..but no, i was wrong..the movie is good! Ofcourse it has its own share of flaws but over all the movie is really good with a good script (the ending could be better), power packed performances (mainly by Nadeem), good looking actors (watch out Meera who’s looking beautiful in most parts but has lost too much weight and thats making her look a lil older than 22
) and beautiful locales (australia).*
The story is on the issue of ‘bachpan ki mangni’ (reminds of mohabbatan sachiyan? it does initially but thats the only remsemblence) between Samar (Saleem Shaikh) who is Mr Dewan’s (Nadeem) son and Umeed (Sana) who has been adopted by Mr Dewan. Umeed grows up with her love deepening for Samar while Samar only takes her as a good friend. Samar lives in Australia and falls in love with Ambreen (Meera) and decides to get married to her. On the other hand, Samar’s cousin, Nabeel (Humayon Saeed) loves Umeed secretly but is very fond of Samar and does not want to create a rift between Samar and Umeed. The drama that follows is worth watching. The only thing that I REALLY didnt like about the movie was the way it ended, I was hoping for some better stuff but nonetheless it was a paisa vasool film.

this movie looks way too rubbish...........i mean story wise...........humayon saeed looks so bad when he dances...................the only good thing is thatcamera technique is imroved n there r no cheap mujras............overall its looks pretty rubbish
