You should speak to the proper Imam because it happened with me but I was a husband. My ex wife asked for divorce just after a month of our marriage and I didn't want her to leave me without any justifiable reason because I liked her madly but the things got worse and she become more stubborn and mad that why ain't I leaving her and I didn't want to be a sinner for giving divorce without any proper reason so her family decided to go for Khula so I said ok, I'll sign the papers and came back to Pakistan and when I got the papers here in which they wrote all BS about me so I refused to sign and the court granted her Khula after few months and let me tell you our marriage wasn't consummated. Later I heard from Moulana Kokab Noorani Okarvi who is well known across Pakistan on a tv show that civil laws of Pakistan doesn't coincide with Shariah law so the khula which court is granting without permission(sign) of husband is not right so this means according to shariah a women is still somebody's wife, so it'll be better if you go to any prominent Imams.
Your Khullah is done as per law and Shariah .You can go for 2nd marraige.

I applied for Khula via family court in Karachi. I have registered my papers and i have my khula certificate as well. My ex was sent a copy but he refuse to accept it. He is threatening me that if i marry someone else i will be committing a sin (Zinah) as im still his wife but he can marry 3 more times and if i want to leave him then i should ask for a divorce. But he was never going to give me a divorce, the whole time i was married to him he kept saying "bring your khula papers and i will sign them" but he never thought i would actually leave him. He likes to play sick mind games.
I have contacted a mufti , lets what he has to say on this.
