Am I the only person on this board pining for this flick??? Where’s SHoaib Mansoor? When is he starting the publicity, forget about the the actual release date aside! Has it turned out to be so bad that they are keeping it totally under wraps? WHat about the music? Where’s the buzz for this film…why aren’tr any of the actors, technicians and other people involved in the film speaking up about it now that its been made?? Moreover, why is info on this film so hard to get??? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!
And Saqib Malik, if you’re reading this, beware: If I get my hands on you ever, you shall not be spared. 3 years and we’re still waiting for that darned film!!!

btw, i'm not too excited abt Khuda Ke Liya ever since Ali Zafar and Shan were casted. Maybe Ali Zafar was fine, but Shaan? unless of course Shoaib Mansoor does some wonder for him, i'd keep imagining him advancing at a 100 drug smugglers heavily armed with automatic weapons while himself being alone, unarmed and having atleats 10 gunshot wounds, and yet ending up victorious and able to get married to the kurri in distress in the very next closing scene...
And, watchout for Shahzad Nawaz's (Daira) film coming up in Dec called "Botal Gali". I was shown some opening scenes and guys, this is definitely going to be a masterpiece.
^^ I'm pretty sure Mansoor got a de-lollywoodised performance from Shaan. The guy can act well and exudes a lot of charm, just look at him in Khamaj or even some of the better films from Lahore. He does have the talent.
And yeah, I watched some stuff from BG, it looked good. But is the film getting a mainstream release, and will it be able to clear the censors?

hey man where sis you see botal galis scenes and where is it releasing in dec, on dvd or in cinemas cos i dnt think this is a feature film cos his last film daira went straight to dvd, and even if it releases in cinemas i dnt think the pakistani audience could adapt to such a concept, it will mainly be targeted at the higher class.
btw, ali zafar is not in KKL he rejected it over 2 years ago when the film first launched, he was replaced by fawed of EP.
Abt botal gali, yeah guys i think it's a huge leap for the local scene. Im not sure hoe the censors would dealt with it, but Shahzad is planning a release in cinemas locally by dec and then in India and elsewhere shortly after. the DVD is probably going to after the cinema release, but he has all these things planned up. But i wonder how much will come to pass as we cant be sure abt the authorities and their reactions. But Shahzad is definitely not one to give up, he has lots of hopes from BG and wants to make it grand. ANd like Daira, it might also be sold to a channel, pbbly GEO some time later.
Saqib Malik is going to be casting Tooba Siddique instead of Veena Malik. What is up with this, after the winner of Lux model, Tooba is everywhere, with poor acting skills.
