It would be gross injustice to ignore the contribution of Syed noor for pakistan’s mainstream cinema. He made a lot of very good, decent movies in 90’s. It was mainly due to his efforts that people returned to theater and enjoyed quality entertainment. He could have made more decent movie but sadly he got infected with a deadly disease. People know this disease simply as ‘Saima’.
here is a partial list of good movies made in and around that time period. Most people outside pakistan have not seen many of them so they cant appreciate them, and as a result develope stereotype Pakistan’s urdu movies based on word of mouth.
Also a breath of fresh air, just yesterday saw this trailer of movie ‘Zibah khana’](http://www.zibahkhana.com)
It was amazing. I mean how these goons at film industory can complain of bad equipment and lack of budget when this man out of nowhere with no prior experience in film making , no cast and almost zero budget can make a critically and technically fit movie, which reviewed and admired by internaional and national media alike.

^^uf ho CR…i have seen couple of them. n to b honest (since i m media student) i ignore several technicalities in pki movies. i usually focus on their story, dialouges n camera angling. n sorry to say. camera work might b good, but dialogues delivery ruins everything. (especially they better get rid of the side kick of heroz, they n their stupid humor is useless n pointless 
).
n this Nikha movie is kinda OLD (it came out when i was in grade 6 but still they it shown as a latest one).
argh kher pki movies need to work on NORMAL acting (no need to scream on every line). NO more Daku n ahem ahem* topics. no exaggeration. n puleeeeeezzzz no more stupid portrayal of patriotism. (i hate it when ppl like meera sayz Pakistan zindabad…yikez)
stay normal, show normal n get normal response

lol.....naaa...studying film media n its impact actually make me to promote something of my own country. apparently handful ppl are present in Pakistan film industry, who so far did everything to ruin it. (n they r pretty successful in it)
after seeing Shomanz work, so far i think this man actually can save Pakistani film industry from further destruction :D. it might not gonna click on the first attempt...cuz so far only tube was his messaging medium. big screen got big stuff to deal with...let see how well he manages
p.s. my defintion for success has no concern with money; perhaps how well message is delivered is i.e. dat one may tell only with percetage of positive response :) (lol i dont think ppl try to spread rong conception dat actually put their personality on question)

being bad or good have nothing to do wid religion. its individual personality’z ding dang. nowadays its jus propagandized by media, n nothing more. personally (n i also give this advice to other) i dont care wat they (media) say about my religion. its solely my personal matter. so if i have ny problem i will consider revising my faith.
kher for this movie. i dont have ny hope vis-à-vis ur concern. i think Shoman is more towards justifying. but my take is “i dont care” on this regard..i m more interested on Pakistani Portrayal :D. (cuz i really hate the way western media portray we desiz

They've just put up the film's stills -- these are not "teasers". Wtf -- I was expecting so much more! I bet Mansoor is going to get in a tussle with Geo over this "Geo Films" issue. There channel is just so pathetic, I cringe at the thought of what their films would be like!
