Re: Khuda ke Liye- the hottest anti-Islamic movie in Pakistan
more prophecies... if the Messenger Muhamad could look ahead into the future, then what was his point to deliver the message in the way that he did???
he foretold whatever was revealed to him by God, these prophecies are the signs of his prophethood and when they proved true it only served to reaffirm the faith of his followers ...he was not a magician with a crystal ball to tell ALL future events

You are forcing the definition of "prophet" by Jewish and Christian standards. He foretold what would be the logical outcome of following God's message, through God's message (Quran)... so what was revealed to him has been revealed to you in the Quran... that levels the playing field. He was no more or less human than you are (and that includes any other human being, be he/she from his family, or yours).
Re: Khuda ke Liye- the hottest anti-Islamic movie in Pakistan
OK guys, what i was trying to say was that there is no single Hadith which prescribes how the government should be established. I try to elaborate.
Khilafat means successor, how he is elected and what authorities he enjoy is no where specified. What only was specified was that till 30 years the Khalifas or successors would be Rashids and then no more. All his life he has been propagating for establishment of a society and not a system of government.
From his life it is evident that discussion is required with fellows before taking any decisions. You can do it in parliment as well. After all Majlis-e-shoora is another name of parliment. President or Prime Minister can be Ameer or whatever. These are just semantics, tranlation of words from one language to another. We started calling the mayors as Nazims, what difference did it make.
What you are saying about political Islam does not come from Quran or Hadees but from Muslim thinkers later on. So it cannot be quoted as part of Islam. Today's thinkers seeing the direction of world can suggest constitution based democracy as the sin qua non of Islamic country. I hope i have clarified my point, agreeing or not is a matter of choice.

Re: Khuda ke Liye- the hottest anti-Islamic movie in Pakistan
Oh really? He disagreed with him and he made a movie against his(junaid) belief.
The producer of the movie, Shoib Mansoor, said he got the inspiration to make the film when his close friend and popular Pakistani pop singer Junaid Jamshed, after coming under the influence of a radical cleric suddenly gave up music saying that it was un-Islamic.
And here is Shoib mansoor’s famous statement that you can find on many sites:
One morning i was going through a newspaper and i saw my friend junaid jamshed’s interview in it. After looking at his new attire in the photograph that ace the article published in it. I could not stop myself from reading it. The more i read the more sad i felt. He had announced quiting music after being convinced that it was “haram”. It really shook me very badly. I have never believed that God could hate the two most beautiful things he has given to mankind…. Music and painting.why are these the two most beautiful things i felt that a confused man like junaid had no right to confuse thousands of his youthful followers**. **I had given him sixteen years of my life as a true friend and had played my role in his professional life to the best of my abilities. How could he throw away our sixteen years just like that without even consulting me? I felt that it was my duty to rectify the damage he had done to the already suffering society under the influence of fundamentalists. I thought that the need of the hour was to study the whole mindset which gave birth to such wrong notions about islam. I have no doubt in my mind that instead of taking the present age fourteen hundred years back we have to bring islam to the present age. The best service to islam today is to make it applicable to modern day requirements.
Such an intolerant person he is, with a lowest mindset.
oh yeah he is very well known director and so is Steven Spielberg…how many degrees both of them have in islamic studies?

WHAT"S WRONG IN THAT !!
Please read every line ......and don't pick on each sentence, read where he talked about Junaid Jamshed.
Re: Khuda ke Liye- the hottest anti-Islamic movie in Pakistan
He has talked a lot about JJ , Can you quote the offending lines ?

Don't we all think that our society is suffereing under the influence of fundamentalist ?.......and if a popular guy turns into a mulla, he will take some of his fan following with him.....I guess that's what he is trying to say. Am I missing something or are somebody is reading between the lines ? If Shahrukh khan turns into a mullah.......he will infuence some of his fans to turn into a mullah but 90% of his fans would just carry on with their lives and keep watching movies and listening to music.

What are you trying to prove here?
Should you kill all the sadhus and pandits bcoz they are religious?
Re: Khuda ke Liye- the hottest anti-Islamic movie in Pakistan
1) This is the proof that he made this movie because he was annoyed at Junaid Jamshed.
so be it... many people including myself are anoyed with him. I gave up music not because I believe God has forbidden it for us, but because I enjoy understanding the Quranic message more.
2) He is calling Maulana Jamil a radical cleric, infact Maulana Jamil is not a radical person at all.
don't know much about him so I cannot comment...
3) He is being intolerant by not accepting Junaid's(and ullema) view on music.
Many muslims are intolerant to many other things and noone cares... why should this be any different.
4) He wants to imply his own choice(music and painting is beautiful) on others.
I can say the same for Junaid Jamshed... he is a public figure so his actions have an impact. And if JJ is on the right path then noone should be feeling insecure about Shoeb Mansoor's actions.
5) He is accusing Junaid that he is confusing thousands of people, and this is a false accusation.
Can't people use their God given intellect to dicide who's right?
6) Junaid is a fundamentalist and? Every muslim should be a fundamentalist in his Deen.
Depends on what you mean by Deen...
7) He is accusing him(Junaid) of doing damage to the society...........What damage he has done? Nothing
Then what damage can Shoeb Mansoor do?
I feel sorry for all of you that you are so biased that you can't see shoib being intolerant and radical.
Don't use statements that come back to haunt you... every action has a reaction. It is God's law.
Re: Khuda ke Liye- the hottest anti-Islamic movie in Pakistan
Rocking vibes , I say , you should check the definition of mullah , coz Junaid n his Tablighii associates aint from the same crowd , u may refer as mullah every day !

I guess somebody is reading deep between the lines and mixing personal sentiments and thoughts in dissecting an interview.......That's just what I think or an average Joe would think..Nothing personal.
1.......Movies and songs are inspired on events and ppl....he made this movie inspired on his good friend turning into a mullah....what's wrong in that ?
2....In the lines you have quoted...I don't see Maulana Jamil's name in it....I may be going nuts and don't know who the maulana is or is famous for.
3....I don't see any intolerance anywhere....he is just expressing his view on the event that changed his good friend. Do you see intolerance in mullahs speech when they preach abt religious restrictions ? No.....i don't see any intolerance in there, they are just expressing the islamic view.

Why do ppl jump to killing and other means for no reason ? I don't think... I mentioned killing or any of those words in my post ? There are only too things I was trying to bring out..............
1...India, Pakistan and many more countries in the world are suffering under the influence of fundamentalist....which most ppl agree in my world ?
2...I can't find any offending stuff in the interview ?
