not taking away the gr8 acting, camera work, production and direction but why it took shoaib mansoor more than 4-5 years to produce this movie? he could have done it sooner. guy enjoys a cult like following. his words are like words of God and work is work of God. had he written a book to challenge Quran i'm sure he would had enjoyed the same success. reason being the fact that most of the people who saw this movie have little knowledge about quran and islam. reading it once in your life and that too in arabic does not make you a scholar. so for them a man of shoaib's reputation coming up with religious statement through this movie is nothing shorting of a miracle. a miracle where muhammad himself appears to them and tells them the exact same thing shoaib is trying to convey through his movie.
From my personal point of view, this movie is more about JJ and his reborn muslim beliefs than anything else. shoaib is deeply hurt and embarrassed by JJ's refusal to work in the movie or to even appreciate it that too after 15years of friendship and partnership.

maybe JJ's irritated that the guy in there represents him?!? these are not my views...i read it somewhere a few months back when the movie was just seen in Pak. that this guy who was 'raised on farmhouses', and later becomes more pious is meant to represent how JJ transformed after many years of music.
