Re: Khuda Hafiz Georges Pakistan?
Like the right, the liberal elite believe all Pakistan’s woes belong to others. But rather than the Hindu/US/Zionist paranoia of the right, the liberals put the blame on the mullahs, the masses, the uneducated and the unwashed — anyone, but themselves.
...the reply
1: The corrupt leaders are to blame.
2: The Pakistani society is to blame.
3: The external powers are to blame.
4: World politics is to blame.
It's easy to blame others. Someone is to blame, and yes without being blamed they may just continue to cause an underlying anger in the masses, without being brought to account.
We should not underestimate the difference one person can, a positive difference. That could be anything from tutoring a poor student, organising groups for litter picking etc... okay so it might not cause political reform but it will make the country better.
A country is for its people, but what if the people do not care for the country, then the country is a shell, ready to be filled with whatever ideas come in from across borders. If you are not ready to accept external powers, then how can you be a power? A united power, not ready to give up what we believe in, a people with an identity, who care for their neighbour like they care for themselves.
Look at the west, such an importance is put on education, and for good reason. The youth we shape today, will Insha'Allah shape the country tomorrow. From this I don't mean just providing academic education, I mean to also promote the good ideas and beliefs they hold.
Making the country better is not just limited to those living in Pakistan, nationals of different countries of Pakistani origin can try to import goods from Pakistan, helping themselves and their counterparts in Pakistan.
Those who are fortunate to be educated in Pakistan can demonstrate the power that education gives them, by writing, printing and distributing their views for a better Pakistan or how to overcome problems in the region. Remember, media is also a weapon of war.
