so, something new in the air…PC Aor of Thailand has hired transvestites for the job of flight attendants…now, the question is:
**** how would you now if she is actually a he and that too up in the air at 37000 feet? ****…would you like to be served by a transvestite flight attendant? would you still fly the airline that hires them or simply shun them? ****
Re: Khowaja Saraas [transvestites] now in the air too!!!
I am sure what they are going to ''serve'' is food etc............any issues one might have , would be probably due to expecting some other sort of ''serving''............
Re: Khowaja Saraas [transvestites] now in the air too!!!
Why does it matter if the person working for a particular airline handing out the meal is a transgendered person or not? How do you know the person serving you in any other airline isn't a transgendered person right now? How does that affect your travel experience? If you main objective for being on a plane is to not go from point A to point B, and instead is gawking at people doing their job, then sure, don't travel with that particular airline. Good for Thailand to recognize that these people exist, are part of their society and are doing their best to assimilate them into it and are instead not shunning them like they have some kind of deadly disease.
Re: Khowaja Saraas [transvestites] now in the air too!!!
It is an appreciable step in my opinion. Eunuchs are human too. We have been unreasonable in considering them a taboo and shuning them away. This is one shameful behaviour of our society, especially regarding our desi society, where because of this shunning away behaviour, we lead them to either beg or do illegal sex and all that.
