Re: KHOMAINI'S VIEW ON PROPHET PBUH
I have come across some books written by allama Khomaini..
The leader of the Iranian revolution, Allama Khomeini writes:
'Every prophet came to establish justice on Earth. His aim was also to establish justice but he was not successful. The same is the position of the Seal of the Prophets who came to reform human society and establish justice but failed during his lifetime.' (Ittihad wa-yak-jihati:15)
Can any Shia explain what is the meaning of this?
First of all, the very first statement of yours sound fishy, you should have rather stated: "I have read on some anti-Shia websites that...." because all you have been doing here uptil now has been simple copy paste and you have yourself never bothered to conduct your own research.
Coming to the reference itself, firstly I myself not have read the book, but assuming the reference to be true, let me say that I do not find anything in this objectionable. Since you have requested 'Shia explaination' for this first time ever, then let me tell you that the author is trying to say that the ultimate aim of every Prophet is to spread justice on earth while no prophet uptil now has ever been able to do it because of the deviated people who kept hurting and subsiquently killing the [majority of the ]prophets. Thus, as per Shia and Sunni [not Nasibi] understanding, this will not be the case and earth will not see Qayamat unless Allah [swt] shows his power and preveail His rule, i.e. the rule of justice, across the globe.
