I think the dinner thing sounds fine.

But you can step in the kitchen yoursf and make tea or something. But if theyre used to having one person do breakfast then just appreciate it

I do realize I am a guest but being a nice guest comes with a price.

I do realize women are territorial and she may not like me to step in the kitchen.
