Khatam-e-Quran??

Well, to all who are going to view this post. I was flipping through the pages of the Book Of Allah when I spotted 2 dua’s for Khatam-e-Quran, 1 was short and 1 was really long. The question I have for y’all is how do you proceed in making those dua’s once you’ve finished the last surah of Quran. I think you read surah fatiha again and the first sipara a until a certain part and then read the dua(s). I did it a long time ago (as a kid) but I don’t remember. Can someone refresh my memory?

Well you only have to finish reading the Quran and than read that dua.
You don’t have to read any thing in between.
So no need to go back to the first parah.
Just read the dua after the last surah.
This is how it is

Anyone else have a different opinion on this?
