I wonder why it still isn’t illegal in the UK. 10 tonnes of khat are imported in Britain every week. … which of course then makes its way to the US/European black markets.

Why should it be illegal? A lot of drugs shouldn’t be illegal if we are considering harmful effects to the user and society as a result of using them.

“Meow Meow”/Mephedrone is synthesised from khat.
