The Khans of Bollywood are no better than some Khans and non-Khan so-called muslims out there. BUT since the Khans of Bollywood are in the public eye more so than the lesser known “sinning” muslim individuals, they are more quickly judged and ridiculed for their unconventional mores and behavior.
All in all, mulz, I’m with you in that I feel that they should at the very least make some effort to be better muslims than they are now or change their names to non-musliim ones in keeping with their beliefs and attitudes. They are, after all, in the limelight representing, so to speak, successful muslims in the predominantly hindu Bollywood. If they’re going to be “Khans” or whatever, they need to represent themselves in the right way in terns of public image. You must also understand though that by behaving “un-Islamic” these muslims actors/actresses of Bollywood try to garner favor and support from the predominantly hindu populace (individuals in power positions within Bollywood, as well as the general public). But hey, they’re weak nonetheless and need to be stronger in supporting their religion, Islam. Sorry to say but I have no respect for people like that.
Moona if they were better muslims I doubt they'd be in Indian films now would they? Just think if we had better muslims in the Pakistani film industry. There wouldn't be one.
Xtreme, totally not true. Actors are as much religious as any Joe on the street. I don’t see how being an actor can be different from being a shoemaker or Halwaee? I just can’t agree with your theory. However, to be a Gupshup Mod one has to be a good and pious Muslim.
Maybe so. I was talking about Moona's version of better muslim. I had visions of a Tablighi Jamaat type running through the vales of Kashmir.

Its upto the person watching whether to accept them(actors) as their role model or not.
Some of these khans were a target of that idiot baal thackerey and he actually played the lead role in promoting that gay idiot hrithik (who chaltahahai loves so much) over Shaurukh Khan.

Does Islam not follow the teachings of Jesus regarding the prohibition of judgment on others? Or does the Quaran have no mention of these teachings and therefore consider them to be fabricated?
