I think the lack of space/privacy in khandaans is what ruins relationships. Everyone pokes into the other's business too much. There's nosiness and gossip and one thing leads to another and you have a fight. I don't like to be too involved with the khandaan, there are few relatives that I'm very close too and with the rest I just have cordial relations.
