No its not always like that. My mom and dad are the only educated persons from both their respective families and I guess education has made them go less into family politics. Also, since they both had been living away from the families for so long, they are not into family politics. Other people in their respective families are very much into politics, sometimes leaving my mom and dad blank and unaware of their motives and intentions. Also, we are the only children who have been brought up away from khandan and since we also don’t know anything about family politics. We are dragged into politics from time to time by our cousins and we do sometimes get puzzled with all this. So I guess its the tarbiat which teaches children how to behave in the khandan. But once children are mature enough, they can understand the underlying politics and they can thus form their opinions.
