if you cant.. then your sound card is probably half-duplex.. meaning you cant record/playback at the same time..

Anyhow, I don't see that Wave Output and u might be right it is half duplex.

due to terminology differences, WAVE OUTPUT khan bhai sometimes is ALSO referred to as "MIXED OUTPUT" / "GENERAL OUTPUT" / etc...

due to curiousty, whats the brand/model of your card khan bhai?
