Pakistani filmmaker Sabiha Sumar directs the political drama Khamosh Pani (Silent Waters). Set in a small Pakistani village in 1979, the film follows widowed family matriarch Ayesha (Kirron Kher) as she struggles under the martial law that declares her country a Muslim state. Her teenage son Saleem (Aamir Malik) is encouraged by his wealthy girlfriend Zubeida (Shilpa Shukla) to get a job. However, he ends up hanging out with a bunch of Muslim fundamentalists and causing trouble for the Sikh pilgrims. Meanwhile, Ayesha remembers secrets from her past awakened by the arrival of the Sikh pilgrim Jaswant (Navtej Johar). Silent Waters won the Golden Leopard award at the 2003 Locarno International Film Festival.
well they show ke that teenage boy is now a proper islamic leader.....n when she sees him she doesnot get excited or willing to meet him coz she knows dat he wont come back frm where ever he is......
crap films. only good thing about it were the dialogues by shoaib hashmi.they sounded witty and poetic.other than that, below-average acting by that indian actress.film looked very biased against muslism.

i never saw any kissing scene in any Dramas. if there is any please tell me the name of post it here.
these two actors r well known ppl in pakistani dramas…they r not kissing…(i mean there is no lip-locking) but whatever they r doing is sooooo vulgar n cheap…i never thought this sort of scene will coem on pak tv…it luks like an emran hasmi’s scene!!!
i saw this scene already before. But there is something, kissing is not allowed in Pakistan. in this jawairia's scene, the camera is not showing down on there private parts. They make this scene in a triky way. If the cameria focus down, i am sure they cut the scene. Any how i know that this Jawairia's scene is very bad, but i never saw kissing scene. You can do a kissing scene if the camera is showing on the foot not on the lips!!
