Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
Interesting stuff. Didn't know quite a lot of it.
So Sikhs want separation and wish to have Lahore as it's capital?

Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
compare east and west punjab in education ,industry, land reform and agricultrual
production.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
The President of Khalistan says India killed 250,000 Sikhs in the 1980's.
If Indian's dispute this then what are their figures, and do they have independent proof to back this up?
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
^After seeing this which Sikh would like to stay with India???

This was a complete miscalculation by Indira Gandhi, and often happens when a country has to suffer fools from dynastic rule. The movement was tiny, insignificant, comprised of a handfull of religious leaders. If, Gandhi was smart, she would have let it lie. The problem however with Nehru and Gandhi and all the Indian leaders until Rao was their myopic foreign and domestic policy. They were unsophicticated enough to use economic power and diplomacy, similar to the way it was used in the Kargil conflict and the attack on Parlaiment.
Some brainchild in her inner circle, probably her older son, decided to give Pakistan a little taste of it's own medicine. The Khalsa claimed Lahore and would be a sore spot for Pakistan. The problem, as Pakistan is seeing now, is that non state actors are easily taken on to a tangent. In the case of the Khalsa movement, what India wanted to keep small, ISI decided to make large.
In the end, there was only one choice she had, to put the rebellion completely.
To say Sikhs want seperation would be a miss-statement. These are just the foreign remnants of a miscalculation.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
Oh a few hundred million of them, thank you.
How is them Baluchi's doing out there?
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
i think you mean 25 million…which is essentially the entire indian sikh population.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
yeah but remember, each Sikh counts for 4. As you start from the east, like in BD and travel westward the ratio goes up from 0.5 to about 10 or 11 by the time you reach Lahore
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
It is shocking what India did to the Sikhs.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
nope. It's shocking how stupid some people can be in their twisted ways of understanding facts and perverted ways of trying create rift within India. You always failed in that and will always.

Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
I agree, and Indira Gandhi paid for her sins. In my more cynical moments, I'm glad the Sikh and LTTE did their deeds. Had they not, India would be still stuck in the dark ages of dynastic rule.
But in the case of Indira, it showed "would be seperatists" and Kashmiri jihadis that Indian unity cannot be compromised.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
Once kashmir falls rest of Indian states will go one after the other... hindu nationalists are scared stiff of this fact.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
Ah, the dreams continue…
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
You are simply exposing how ill-informed naive thoughtless and confused you can be. There's no such thing as Kashmir falling, all Indian states are quite happy with the way the Union has progressed and we are looking foward to moving from the under developed to the fully developed column.
Everyone wants to come to India for business, recreation, healthcare as well as spiritual rejuvenation. We are going to complete the golden quadrilateral, power the villages in 4 years and that will leave us with one and only one problem - what do we do with the flood-draught double punches. But we'll solve that too within a decade. The religion-caste issues are fast taking backseat to economics as the driving force of politics.
So don't ever make the mistake of even dreaming anything bad about India. Instead, work with us and we'll both prosper, finally breaking the shackles that centuries of slavery imposed upon us. Or continue your naive thinking and you will perish.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura all states where we are seeing bloodshed all the time, then we have dalits and Muslims being brutalised. All are not so happy with India despite what some want the world to believe.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
Clearly, You can’t see that how people from diverse views and background are bound by democracy and can stay together and at all these places more than 50-60% people come out and vote for Indian democracy.
NO OOPSSSSS… SOrry I didn’t know that you don’t know what is democracy… ![]()
You see only with black and white glasses, while world is full of shades of grey…
ANY WAY… You be happy in your world, I am in mine…

Beta, why are you trying to move away from the topic? :D
Bharat-mata got problem in Kashmir, Nagaland, Tripura, Manipura, Punjabi, and what not. And it's got nothing to do with democracy.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
^ a few thousands of a million can create a problem. Lets say that to be 10% of the population. But u forget to see the 90% percent who favour india.
U know what, a movement which really threatened Indian union was the punjab issue. But now its dead and buried. With that came the confidence in Indians that they can handle any issue. Be it by force or with negotiation.
Now why dont u controll ur guys in NWFP and Baluchistan. U lost one part of ur nation, do u want to loose more.:)

hehe. 10% is still a lot of population. I am saying it irrespective of the fact that you came up with this 10% figure out of nowhere.

Oh really? It's good to know that Bharatis do not consider Kashmir to be an issue threatening Indian union. Of course it is not. Because Kashmir never was Bharat-mata's part.

hehe. It's good to see a Bharati so concerned about Pakistan that he comes to a Pakistani board especially to hope that we can control NWFP and Balochistan, even though he knows JACK about these places. :D Ooh, may be he gets his ideas from biased/Hindutva-based Bharati media.
May be it will be better for his own and for his Bharat-mata's future if he gives more consideration to oppressed people in Bharat like Kashmiris, Dalits, Nagas, etc. etc.
Re: Khalistan President writes to US President
^ oye! where were you when we had the elections in Kashmir? Or I'll make it simpler. We don't need passports to go to Kashmir. You do. What does that tell you boy?
