Then you see this VVIP Culture.
****Presidency, Prime Minister’s House, Parliament lodges exempt from electricity bills
So what’s really changed since the election?
Re: Kh. Asif: ‘Change your habits, Loadshedding is here to stay’
so why did they ask people to elect an ‘experienced team’ during the elections? To eat mangoes? ![]()
Re: Kh. Asif: ‘Change your habits, Loadshedding is here to stay’
The kind of experience, they’re known for of course. Tragedy of the nation is, that its’ over-trusting gets it every time with the same thieves in different costumes.
Re: Kh. Asif: 'Change your habits, Loadshedding is here to stay'
Mohtaram Kh Asif Sahib people have already changed their habits (i.e reconciled with the fact that they have to live with load shedding) therefore keep your advice to yourself and enjoy your ministry till it lasts.

Our people forget too quickly. In some time we'll start witnessing the people reminding us of the golden rule of PPP when everything used to be so cheap and the life goes on.
Re: Kh. Asif: 'Change your habits, Loadshedding is here to stay'
it must be declared that any politician who promises something before elections and does NOT deliver the same after elections must be put to death! only death will probably rectify their actions.

The Judge, Jury, and Executioner are all politically affiliated. And there is no Reset button, unfortunately.

in that case, well...only bloody revolution will correct the elite...i'm watching nawa-e-waqt right now and waqt news columnist, Assii saahab, is suggesting that in his analysis as we speak.
Re: Kh. Asif: 'Change your habits, Loadshedding is here to stay'
That may be the inevitable avenue, but hope is that maturity will find its' way into Political circles, and their sense of patriotism may let them make decision which are good for the nation. Only and only if Allah wills, and public follows suit to judge them based on performance.
It's a game they have mastered. Starve people right up to Elections, then start handing out food, water, cool air, laptops, loans, and anything else that people have needed the entire time. Then hit them with the same repeat cycle after being re-elected. Nothing changes. The parties' manifestos differ on face, but it's as if they all have the same "internal charter of governance" they all abide by because they all behave the same way after being elected.
Re: Kh. Asif: 'Change your habits, Loadshedding is here to stay'
one face fits ALL...tear of blood rolls down the cheeks of the victims of the politician's misdeeds...Allah will punish them on the day of judgement, iA.
Allah, on the other hand, does NOT change a nation's conditions unless and until they strive to achieve that change.
Re: Kh. Asif: 'Change your habits, Loadshedding is here to stay'
So, does the current Government foresee a finish of Load Shedding at all during its' tenure? Why don't they pay the bills, and increase production? Or does Pakistan not have the production capacity either?
Re: Kh. Asif: 'Change your habits, Loadshedding is here to stay'
^ they have the production capacity, the two issues are the generation mix (our generation depends on oil for more than 60% of its power generation) and then the ageing distribution network. The government cannot pay the power producers their dues, and they don't have the will to free up gas from fertiliser companies and cng to be used for energy generation. People have to pay the price.
Re: Kh. Asif: 'Change your habits, Loadshedding is here to stay'
we know its not going anywhere in couple of years, but at least collect electricity bills from VVIPs and Govt departments you choorrrrssssssss
