do you remember this incident that happened back in 2005?
This KFC is located at very moderate area of Karachi, I think violence triggered on religious ground.

yes, but not related to current event and reason was religious extremism.

They actually also vandalized (and burned) a KFC outlet in Lahore too in 2005.
The one on Mall Road. I used to go there!

If you want to know what is wrong with your country look in a mirror. All those people who work at KFC are you going to provide them jobs? Or are you going to join to burn down few more city blocks? And, why should anyone invest in place like Pakistan...if you and likes of you think like that?

thank you for telling me what is wrong with my country. i never said anything about burning down anything.stop making things up.
businesses close all the time. no big deal. if you knew, big businesses always have something called ''insurance'', ever heard of it?? a couple of outlets getting crashed after 5 years doesn't affect business so much that one has to leave the country. What percentage of total assets do you think the few shops are? what would be the financial loss, keeping in view the insurance cover? KFC have enough brand awareness and repeat customers. such an incident doesn't affect their revenue generation materially. They have been here for years, and seen worse than the current situation.
Too bad you can't think objectively,people like you just need something to bash pakistan. validates your own decisions perhaps.

oh nevermind…the thread title is misleading 
this is not a case of ‘shutting down’…its just ‘shuttering’ them…NO investment is going out…it was just about beefing up the glass doors.
