KFC secret recpie

i found this from internet and made it several times and it turns out absoulty great Masha’Allah

last weekend i made it for almost 40 guest and every one loved it

-chicken pecies with skins (thighs and drum sticks)
-egg and milk (mix together)
-white flour and red chilli powder and salt (mix together in plastic bag)

*put chicken piece in plastic bag to coat in flour
*dip it in egg and milk mixture
*again put it in plastic bag to do a second coat of flour

  • deep fry in deep fryer

note: you can do only one coating if you wish
it is better to use plastic bag to avoid mess
and make it in deep fryer for best results

So the secret bit was the white flour :o ?

humm i am gonna try :D

i put a tsp of garlic powder in it as well...
n 1/2 a tsp of lemon pepper from McCormick...
ppl eat it up

Thanks for the recpie , my kids love Kfc chicken :-)

-usually what ever timing it is given on the fryer it cooks with in that time.

-if you don't have the deep fryer then mine says it cooks with in 10-15 mins

-it may take longer in the karahaya i am not sure

-make sure oil is properly preheated to the right temperature

-also make sure you have smaller or average size chicken pieces....as once i made it out of huge pecies. so it was not fully cooked and i have to fry it twice

-hope this helps :)

I think my problem is preheating the oil..

how hot should itbe?

Make sure you use the proper oil for frying. Regular vegetable oil doesn't give the flavor found in most fast food restaurants. I believe they use peanut oil. I am not sure.

humm ...i am not a expert either you know

but what i do is drop the peice of food in the oil and if it turns light brown then i know it is on right temperature......also make sure you do the checking before oil start making smoke and burning ...... also i use canola or veg oil and it work out fine

Another absolutely yummy fried chicken. Cook the chicken with salt. Add VERY little water while cooking it. Once cooked, dip it in a mixture of whipped egg, salt, black pepper and chinese salt. Deep fry. It's yummy.
