..it just..died.. well it had it .. since three years almost ? u kidding me ? torture of confused-the-ghora-typewriter, qrius-the-james-bond-searching-freak jaisay logg jab iss ko ITNA RAGAR kar istimaal karaingay to YAHI hoga..
anyway, did a lil research in local staples (former business depot) store.. and .. turns out that what I wanted, a PERFECTLY noise-free, no tik-tik-keyboard is HARD to find .. anyway, on THIS one my heart got SETTT!!! .. a Logitech Internet Navigator Keyboard ..
here is its pic:

btw, keyboard is.. ZABARDAST :k: .. keys are just.. NICE and SMOOTH .. they are QUITEEEE man! .. :k: amazing..
(in my computer experience, a fluent keyboard is a MUST cuz of the extensive keyboard usage i do .. i tend to use keyboard for ANYTHING thats possible from keyboard and mouse isnt used that much) ..
How much you paid for this one? did u get the matching cordless optical mouse with it? I’ve been using cordless freedom pro for the past 2 years and am a satisfied customer :k:
wow this keyboard is great but what i use is a break apart keyboard… and im much more attached with it… but i will look for this keyboard… the keys luks nice:k:… and u can assign the keys for any other purposes?..
nice one:k:…
salman bhai: nahi bhai .. i didnt got THAT cordless one .. for SOME reason, i’m not into cordless things .. i like the KEYBOARDS and the MICE to be corded.. specially the keyboards .. they’re just..wellllll, its hard to explain ..
the price was regular 39.95, but there was this instant $10 off.. so 29.95 plus tax whatever.. i think it came down to 34 something after tax.. so that was a gooooooooood price.. specially for the quietness i would be doing ANYTHING ..
I tried the ergonomical keyboard for a while. Then reverted back to regular design. It was not worth re-learning all that.
These days, I am also looking for a new kb. Probably won't go for the cordless one. With kids using the computer 98% of the time, low tech is best. Plus if its cordless, they'll lose the mouse on first day.
The one in the first post looks cool. Will check out if its availabel in local Fry's. Customizable keys on the keyboard are a must.
the MANUFACTURER named silicon or what? please get back to me on this.. cuz if its a PURE noise-free solution, i would love to try it out..
for sometime back in highschool (thats almost 4-5 years ago) i had an opportunity to test-torture a concept by MD.Robotics, (former Spar manufacturer of CanadArm), what that concept-keyboard had was something that never hit market.. (FCC regulations and all) .. it was a nice concept though .. key-less keyboard..
problems? sure .. it was TOO sensitive.. with CALCULATORS they were okay, but in keyboards? homeusers? neah.. concept kinda never became popular.. THOUGH if that was available TODAY, i would be the VERY first one to use it.. :k:
salman bhai , NICE keyboard.. VERY impressive design.. since 1998 i’ve noticed SUDDEN boost in logitech peripherals.. i was a big fan of their webcams.. :k: ..
but as faisal bhai said, ergo.boards have their disadvantages, and the type of user i am, its not worth re-learning ..
