Keyboard & Mouse

Just bought and started using this duo
[thumb=D]LogitechMX.JPG[/thumb]
Logitech® Cordless MX™ Duo.
Its an absolute pleasure to use. Coordless freedom, with a keyboard full of useful features.

The only complaint is that they have stuffed the keyboard with so many icons that at first glance it looks more complicated than it really is. They’ve tried to make it idiot-proof identifying the control functions of most keys (c=copy, v=paste, f=find etc), plus given some Apple commands too.

Other than that… the mouse is superb. Optical mouse with wireless access and also some useful bak-fwd and a button to switch between progs (equivalent to Alt-Tab). Its really cool.

I'm looking for one too. Its a pain cleaning the mouseball. How much it cost you? $100?

Wow Faisal bhai, Cool stuff  congrats

HS,

bought one for $55 CDN from Factory Direct… check it out:

Umar, I tried "natural" keyboard once, and gave up. Its unnatural for me. Plus it doesn't help either to have home computer as "natural" and work computer as "unnatural". :-)

hskhan.. it is available for US$77 from Amazon (with free shipping). If you look around, you may find other vendors selling it for cheaper. For me, I just went to OfficeMax and bought it at the regular price. My keyboard had almost died.

Re: Keyboard & Mouse

Faisal, How is the battery working for you?

Does it eats the battery or it has rechargable one? I am thinking of buying one set but i use PC for abour 10-12 hours daily so i need the one with rechargable batteries

The mouse has rechargable batteries, which gets recharged when you put it in its cradle. Keyboard uses 2 AA batteries. By reading the reviews, it seems to have pretty decent battery life. Once I run out of battery, I will let you know. :-)

OOOh Faisal I have been having so much fun with this alt/tab thingy (I never knew my knackered old keyboard could do that!) Do you have any more handy tips?

:flower1:

Wow! Sobi... Just stay away from Alt-F4 and you shall be ok

^^ Idiot

My brother just told me that shift and F3 will change caps to non caps and vice verse (still prefer the magic of alt/tab though).

This is so exciting! Any more tips?
