I do too, but kids take a bath in it , that is why we need at least a ton of it every week.

buy the store brand bottles, they taste the same and are a quarter of the price.
Just refill the Heinz bottle so no one finds out lol.

Ya but it still costs a lot to buy tons and tons of any thing. No ?

I have no issue with their consuming ketchup , they can eat as much as they like that is why I am trying to look for some cheaper alternative. Things are getting tough in US also now, with rising oil prices and in turn everything is getting expensive. A freeking note book costs two dollars on sale.

Yes , like I used to love bhuttay , but now I love chanay as a day time snack.
Re: Ketchup is so freeking expensive now.
i wouldnt go cheap on ketchup.. cheaper ketchup means cheaper production... most of the low end brands or no name brands have mostly food color and a whole lotta other crap in it rather than total tomatoes... im not saying heinz is 100% tomato though they say they are.. but still...

It is illegal to put crap in food products , it is a health hazard.:D

generally if u buy edible items in bulk ,esp from wholesale store , it cost u less , but u better check it's unit price before buying

Nothing like experimenting.
1 bottle of vinegar, 1/cup of cornflour mixed with water, 1 tube tomato puree, a pint of water, some sugar, some salt, some garlic powder, some paprika... Mix everything in a pan and stir, adjust seasonings and cool.
Ok, so that was a made up recipe, now here's the SERIOUS bit...
