KESC signs pact to purchase 130 MW

KARACHI: The Karachi Electricity Supply Corporation (KESC) signed a seven-month rental contract with One World on Monday for the purchase of 130 MW of power. According to a KESC release, under the contract, One World will provide the utility with approximately 130 MW of power. These negotiations had been going on for sometime. The fuel for the power plant will be natural gas, as stated in the contract. ppi
