How many of you update your wardrobe on a regular basis?
Do you buy in-fashion pieces each season?
If you do, what do you do with the out of season/fashion stuff? donate it or keep it hoping it will be in fashion again in a few years?
While we are on the topic, what do you do with clothing thats not your size anymore? if its too small, do you keep it in the hopes you will eventually lose weight and fit into it? I am finding some of my shadi clothes are out of fashion now. Kataan silk was really in at that time and alot of my suits are of that. But i dont see anyone wearing it anymore. I am thinking of donating those suits so someone else can advantage of them and i dont have to feel guilty of having so many outfits that i dont fit into anymore.

Yes I do try to keep my wardobe up to date. I'm greedy I will admit. Hence, I try not to give a lot of clothes away. It kinda breaks my heart because some of them haven't been worn yet :( I eventually give them away after 3-4 years when I realise they're too old.
I'm greedy when it comes to clothes, I usually stick to classics and match them-up with other things. Chose fabric that will stay in fashion for a long long time. I like the long kameez's but not the huge bottoms that are 'in' these days. I got 3 to try.. and didn't like any of them so I wear the with neutral colored straight pants.
For the slightly 'heavy' and formal outfits I send them to Edhi in Karachi, they get girls married-off year round!
i dont make a LOT of clothing at the same time, especially for clothing that is of strange fashion (like these days with the kaftans, only had 2 made)... then i wear the hell out of them.... when fashion changes, i update only my formal wear wardrobe and continue wearing the prev seasons fashion at home... so yes.. that is how i used up most of my heavy kaam walay kapray from my wedding.. wearing them at home just before the man came home.... i had already worn them as much as i could to when visiting ppl, so couldnt use them as formal clothing anymore.
the bad part is, if you buy quality fabric and wear it with care, you would rarely ever ruin ure clothing... so thats teh case with me..even after i have worn them atleast 20 times, they are still in good condition.. so then i donate them...
i have unopened suits packed taht came in my jahez and bury.. they dont have enough ease cloth inside for me to be able to open the kameez a bit...what ive done is given them back to my mom.. she can use them for bury or jahez for my siblings.
