some other schools of thought say 40 days
it is dislikd unless there is danger to the mother, but majority of scholars agree that it is the same as murder if done after teh first trimester.

God forbid that should ever happen to anyone. personally i would not - what a horrible tragic reminder..i dont think that i could ever relle move on if a part of the ordeal was always with u .say if the person is young abt 17-20 would you still keep the baby?!? coz it would sorta "ruin" your life forever afterwards :(

So popping the morning-after pill immediately after the rape (I'm guessing its the morning-after pill you're talking about), would be absolutely halaal and OK?

you dont even know that ur pregnant in the first 3 weeks ...typically one finds out about 6weeks into it.

120 days=4months....after this it is completely forbidden according to the majority of scholars. You are right....abortion is only allowed if it is a danger to the mother....from my understanding.

it is ok if one is taking it the day after thinking that they "slipped up"as long as the the sperm hasnt fertilized the egg...meaning... there isnt a positive pregnancy test at this point.

you never really know what you're going to do in a situation until you're actually in it.
how many of you know how difficult it is to have an abortion?
i think it all depends on what frame of mind you are in at that time.
personally speaking, i really wouldn't know what i would do - but i'd probably lean heavily towards keeping the baby.

I don't think that I'll get an abortion if God for bid something like that happens. It wasn't that baby's fault that I (god for bid) got raped and pregnant, then why should I kill the baby for that. Once I am pregnant with that baby, it is a part of me, why would I throw a part of myself in the garbage.

No, i dont think that i would keep the child.
Because it will remind me of the person who raped me
everytime when i looked at my child, I know it isnt the childs fault
but still i would not keep it.

Its so funny, I asked one of my Christian fundo friends, and she said that she would absolutely NOT have an abortion, because its flat out sin. They believe that life starts at conception.
I wonder why that's different for us? I mean, somewhere in the bible someone apparently made a change somewhere and changed it to life starting at conception. But what reason would they have had for that?
