Like throw a few chicken stock cubes in water and boil it … fry some chicken chunks with salt and black pepper … and add it to the water … then crush some sweet corn in a blender and add them .. then pop a few non blended sweet corn in as well … add some egg white in .. and finally the corn flour … and yummy ![]()
The Eastern Part of the world believes that food either has a warming or cooling or neutral effect. I’ve heard to this being referred to as garam taasir..thandi taasir.
Even when it comes to skin problems such as acne, you might hear someone say that you have too much “garmi” in you and should eat “thandi” cheezain to combat your acne.
Soup and bread are considered warm foods and are good for the winter…so are stews. During the winter in Pak…some people make this mithai…that’s like a powder…and it’s called daal because it’s made from ground up daal that is sweetened and is considered “garam.” I’m guessing gajar ka halwa, which is often made during the winters must also be considered a “warm” food.
